Jan 10, 2016 at 9:34 pm #3375049Thanks Richard
I have about 5 left and I’ll stop making them, at least for a while.
I came across a sewing machine that was useless and mine is on a fritz as well.
Jan 10, 2016 at 10:36 pm #3375057do I need to adjust that order to what you have available?
Apr 23, 2016 at 6:30 pm #3397625I made an infant bag that grows with you until about age 10.
Starts off as a 3 layer (6 total) for the infant. Â The bottom is doubled.
A double layer up to about 6 years old and a quilt to around 10 years old.
There have been a few people that have asked for one so if you do I’ll take 2 orders from someone who wants it. Â The blue angle ruler is 16″ X 24″.
If I don’t get an order for one in the next few days, they will just go to someone as a quilt.
$55 shipped

Nov 3, 2017 at 9:34 am #3500032Hello everyone.
First post in a while, but I’m back with a different account, (but still a lifetime member).
Going to be selling a batch of kids quilts. They will be made from the Costco down throws and consist of a double layer.
Main body will be a straight taper from 45 inches at the head to 35 inches at the feet with a 60 inch length. The foot box will be sewn up 25 inches.
For use with a baby, the top will fold over the sewn, seam free footbox to create an 8 layered 7 inches of cocoon loft.
The next stage as they grow will be with the top half (open part) that folds back over itself down to the 25 inch sewn foot box. This will make it a 42 1/2 inch width and 42 1/2 inch length with 4 total layers on the upper torso. There will be a pull cord on the top for this length as well.
Last will be the full 60 inch length, 45 inch width with a pull cord on top.
There will be plenty of snaps so it can be snapped up and used as hoodless sleeping bag if preferred.
It should be 19 ounces with 3.75 inches of total loft and be able to get down to 30-35 depending on what they’re wearing. It won’t be quite as warm as an adult quilt with that thickness just because it has plenty of wiggle room. The double layer will help with drafts a lot more than a standard quilt.
I’ll take orders as soon as I get them as well as getting some photos up.
Price will be $60 shipped.
Nov 5, 2017 at 12:33 am #3500329Unsolicited endorsement: I bought two kids quilts from Aaron a while back. My kids, now 5 and 7 years old, love them.. I also have two of his adult costco down throw quilts, and they have been fantastic as well. Outstanding value.
Nov 5, 2017 at 1:39 am #3500339Aaron, I just received a Costco flier that mentioned that their Double Black Diamond throws will be on sale from Nov. 24 through Nov. 27 at $15.99 each, + local sales tax (20% off); Â Limit 5; color selection varies by location. In case you didn’t know… it would help drop your costs a bit. Buy 5 each day, maybe…?
