I would quibble about the off axis stretch causing more problems with DCF than with a normal fabric, since the two layes of spectra/dyneema are usually at right angles or close to it. I believe R. Bell also mentiond some extra fabric laid orienting the fibers more favorably. As you say, multiple layers at some angle could mitigate a lot of that, too. It is good to see that manufacturors are finally learning to work with DCF effectively. In the early days it was like pulling teeth without Novocain to find a good manufacturer.
