    Dirtbag – if it is raining whole day and the Nemo is outside, can you still use the Nemo as a sleeping pad? it doesn’t absorb water, but would have water on top of it – just curious..

    Do you mean when I’m hiking and it’s raining?  Sure it gets wet but does not absorb any water. Shake it off.  Probably some droplets of water left on it but no more then on my wet body or gear.  Have not had any issues or concerns.

    slightly different topic

    once I camped on what became a puddle.  My mattress was 1″.  The water was less than 1″.  I noticed water in the middle of the night but I stayed dry so I went back to sleep.  By the morning it drained away.

    Maybe it was just a dream :)
