Just wondering if anyone has looked at trying to make some thing similar themselves.  Seems like a pretty straight forward design. I’m thinking about trying as the price on these things is just a little much but I like the style.

The Tensegrity looks very roomy, but I’d be afraid of the V design in strong side winds. Everything else about the tent looks great though. I like the fact that the Tensegrity has an arch pole at the foot end and that it has tons of ventilation and viewing space. The awning/vestibule seems like a great idea too.

I’ve been thinking about a similar design, but with straight side walls instead of angled out at the top. I’ve also been trying to figure out how to use two 40 inch carbon poles on the head end corners along with a trekking pole as a cross beam on the top. RSBTR 1.04 oz 4000mm Membrane Silpoly for the floor and .91 oz 1500 mm Membrane Silpoly for the fly,  .67 noseeum canopy.
