Hi. I cracked open a number 10 can of freeze dried corn, to use in dinners. I am looking for a corn chowder recipe. I have a BRS stove so prefer boiling water recipes, rather than any actual cooking. Does anyone have a chowder they really like?

I don’t particularly like potatoes, corn or soup but that sounds very tasty.

    Sarah, thank you!

Matthew, I packed in actual corn bread once, and it was wonderful. Thought corn chowder might similarly hit the spot.

Hi Sarah, this one looks good. I was wondering what “4 packets broth concentrate” means  in translating this. Here in Australia, we might call items a little differently and I’m keen to replicate your recipe. Regards Steve C

Steve, a packet of broth concentrate is equal to 1 tsp broth powder (boullion) – it’s neat stuff, it’s liquid, so is nice and rich tasting, but you can get it with lower sodium in the US now :-)
