Colorado in November

I’m planning a peak-bagging trip to Colorado this November as my fall break trip. I know November can be a bit of an unknown as far as weather goes, but I’m wondering if anyone has any advice for this coming November. I’ll mostly be in the Sawatch, and I’m planning to do La Plata via Ellingwood if its traversable that time of year. My partner and I both have extended trekking and class 3 scrambling experience, just not in this part of the country.
