Yeah, well I have backups back from my 5mb/sec SCSI days. But, the tape drive went bad and I cannot get at them. Replacing it means a whole lot of adapters and the tape drive itself costs 5-10 times what I paid for it, originally. Nothing takes the old tape cartridges. Even my old reel tapes are likely bad, after 30 years (they are only good for 10.) Anyway, backups are not really useful today. Everything goes on the servers which have redundant backups, digital drives, and other stuff…what is called the cloud these days. Tapes and hard rive back-ups are old and barely useful, mostly for long ago stuff that isn’t worth much.
