Making a new bivy; I have two fabrics to choose from for the top, Impetus 1.1 (from DIY Gear Supply) and MTN7 (from RSTY).  Opinions on which to use?  I’m looking for splash protection under a tarp.

FYI I used a center panel of no-see-um netting with a border of uncoated ripstop on top of a rather large 2P bathtub bivy (5″ sides).  This gives great ventilation in the center with splash protection around the sides.

I’ve used M50 from thru-hiker.com.  Light weight.  Very good DWR.  I’ve got a lot of splash without entering the bag.
