We took advantage of a short brake in the weather to have our walk. I liked this photo from this afternoon
The resident kite was hunting in the distance, then we saw it diving twice about 100 metres away from us. It then flew with its prey to the tree we were about to pass by.
I called this photo Kite and Mouse
I took several photos of this bird coming in and then eating the mouse. many a bit too graphic. here is one as it is about to land.
