Another one of my recipes that requires a small amount of fresh ingredients and extra prep/cooking, but oh so worth it IMHO.

This looks delicious! What does the cinnamon stick add that would be missing with just a bit of cinnamon powder?

Cinnamon powder would probably work just as well. It’s a gourmet thing from the original recipe I reckon.
