anyone have tips for buckles and adjusters that work with UHMWPE webbing (https://ripstopbytheroll.com/products/venom-uhmwpe-ultralight-webbing)?

or is this stuff just too thin and slippery for adjustable hardware? would a cam buckle work? or do i need to bartack loops and/or use knots?

I do not use that sort of webbing, for those reasons. I use nylon webbing.
The UHMWPE stuff may be cheaper, but that is not of much use if it does not work.

I don’t have experience with it, but I’d sure like to hear from someone who has.

As a would-be hammock backpacker, I have been researching suspension options. It’s my understanding that UHMWPE works well as an ultralight hammock suspension using knots only or as tree huggers, but that polyester webbing is more suited to hardware.
