    @zfish42

    Planning out a route for the summer. Still very much a rough draft but this is what I’ve come up with: https://caltopo.com/m/NHP5

    Thinking about starting in Grand Junction in early may. From there I’d follow Jamal Green’s route http://www.acrossutah.com/map/  through Utah (did most of the hayduke last summer so I want to do something different) to the Nevada border. The other gaps in my map would be filled in by the ICT and CDT. Comments/concerns? Anyone with experience hiking through those areas of Nevada/info on water reliability let me know!

    Do you have any interest in being an early adapter to the Wyoming Trail? I am developing this trail to add to the state long-trail system and would be interested to have some “guinea-pigs” to give it a stab. I am giving it a go this summer myself…. The proposed route is here: https://caltopo.com/m/DP2J

    Also, keep tabs on the forum discussion here on backpackinglight: https://backpackinglight.com/forums/topic/proposed-the-wyoming-long-trail-a-personal-introduction-and-gauge-of-interest/
