Nicely done. I also went the hand stuffing route, but with one less step. I put the giant bag of down (still in the bag) into a box, which I then put on a scale, and just used subtraction to figure out how much down I had used.
@Jerry Not sure about the loft. M50 is silky against the skin. However, I am only using this quilt in colder weather, so I usually have a top of some sort on. I also use a liner to reduce the amount of dirt/sweat getting to the quilt.
You should start your own Quilt Company because that Quilt looks so darn good. If you're Australian I guess you could use the quilt in Tasmania or parts of Victoria or fly to New Zealand. It looks too warm for the desert.
