Move it to Chaff…

I'm not the forum or gear swap bump police. I also have nothing against rolling up my sleeves and getting into a debate with some of you characters here at BPL… in Chaff.

BUT… it's one thing to start an off topic Bikepacking thread in gear, and another to start a flame inducing cop vs mentally ill person thread in general lightweight backpacking discussion and pretend it's on topic because the deceased happened to sleep outside.

I don't use the "recent posts" option but many people here do. I suspect much of this is to avoid reading chaffy threads. It's my understanding that Chaff does not show up in recent threads.

I'm not trying to preach so just take this FWIW.

Edit: and yes I realize I'm not perfect in this regard and that I probably should have not posted in that thread until it was moved to Chaff. Touche.
