Great and very emotional 4 episode video about a German and a Turkish cyclist racing London – Istanbul. It is all about the power and glory of bike racing…..

The route was 3,300 km long – the winner cycled it in 7 days and 13 hours……

I see a pretty fit Swedish guy leaving behind a woefully untrained and unprepared Turkish guy.
Not exactly "the power and glory of bike racing".
Stopping at the Muur was a pretty cool idea, though.

This is a very different documentary and I love the way how they focus on the emotions of the riders, how they focus on the hardships endured and the way the two riders changed mentally. Even the visual approach is stunning. I think episode 2 is best when they both go through the very lowest point of their race.

Even I am thinking of bike racing now….

Here's the easy way: PAC Tour Elite.
Baggage shuttled to motels each day. Breakfast and SAG stops provided.

Average 266 km per day, over 18 days, for 4,642 km, in June through the southern desert.
