I bought a Mammut ultralight jacket. I can't find the exact model online but it's a women's 900 down with no hood and one full length zipper.

I'm wondering if it's countereit because the care tag has so many misspellings: "cleaning instructions", "fabnic", "luck warm water", "down clomps", etc.

Has anyone else seen misspellings on Mammut gear?

Much easier if you post a photo but, by your description, I would say that there is a 1% chance that it is genuine.
Often counterfeit jackets do not have a genuine counterpart, they are just a generic design with a label on it

In fact, in one case recently the Chinese factory was using Western logos just because they looked good. Registered trade mark? IP? What's that? They really do not understand.

AFAIK, Mammut uses no 900 FP down.

Misspelling such as that you've described are usually dead giveaways of a counterfeit. You can go to your local store and take a peek at an authentic jacket to make sure it doesn't have any of the same mistakes, but I'm willing to bet a large sum of money it'll be properly proofread.

I can save the OP a trip. There are no misspellings on the Mammut labels. Sounds like the jacket is a fake.
