Nice, waterproof and very bright. 100 lumen for great distance at night. The ability to dim in both flood and spot mode is key to battery life. 4 Alkaline AAA's gives the best results as rechargeables die fast and never put out the same power from the start. The only thing I dislike is the weight, and sometimes the headband just seems to need adjusting before putting on. Idk why?? All in all, I just wish it was lighter, it performs great. Although you would think the flood lamp setting would conserve batteries as it is dimmer, it actually utilizes two led's which draws more power than the spot dimmed. Good to know for long trips.
