I got one of the Flyweight Designs AirLyte 20 liter dry bags with the idea to use it in my front basket, just like a pack liner. I took it for a test run last week loaded with my clothing and electronics and it worked well. I was able to secure it using the side straps trough the bars of the basket and snapped them into the buckles. I like the arrangement much better than front panniers.
The black bag behind it is a long zippered side pocket like the ones used on external frame packs. It is secured to the basket with zip ties and holds my U-lock and cable.
