There's one called NW Trail Bum that's so awesome that every time I read one of his articles, I poop my pants. I think the guy is the James Bond of backpacking.

There are a lot of inactive blogs with great trip reports. Google "Backpacking Scotland, Iceland, Wonderland, JMT, etc" and you'll find some great TRs.
