The Trail Show #26 featuring the Pinhoti Trail.
Show #26 – The show that almost wasn’t!!! (Pardon the audio quality during the first 41 mins as we are lucky we have any audio from this show) – This month D-low shares a poem, we hear tales from the trail with embedded thru-hiker Trevor “Homework” McKee, the “Brief History of Hiking Podcasts” is divulged, we give secret tips on how to carry suitcases of wheat soda, items of note from Finland are mentioned, we hoist a gargantuan amount of Ohio beers care of The Bobbi Walters, and review a little book called A Walk in the Woods. We also do the iTunes Top 5, tip our caps to our monthly donors, read a few postcards from the Mailbag and Mags reviews the gear that is beer.
And as always … Beer O’ Da Month (courtesy of Bobbi Walters), Trail News with Mags, Trail O’ Da Month (Pinhoti Trail), Disco’s Trail Tip O’ Da Month and Ask-A-Hiker with D-low.
The July Show is sponsored by Justin “Quality” Knowles. Thanks to all The Trail Show listeners that have signed up via PayPal to make recurring monthly donations.
