    I returned a week ago from my first proper packrafting adventure on the Olympic Peninsula. Here's the trip report:

    In short, I hiked up Mt.Olympus and then floated Hoh river all the way down to the ocean.

    Fantastic! I love these hybrid trips. Needs a bike leg :)

    There are lots of short rivers on the Pacific coast. There are several in the Willapa Bay area that would be fun to raft. On Puget Sound, the Nisqually and Skagit are interesting, with lots of wildlife and big estuaries. You could float a big length of the Skykomish or Snoqualmie rivers too, finishing up on the Snohomish at Everett.
