Not many prepackaged meals seem worth the weight to me. This one is an exception, but it’s primarily related to taste, even though its caloric density is very good (92 cal/oz) for a packaged dinner.
It gets a 5 from me simply because I have yet to encounter a situation when it doesn’t taste good, even after a very long day, or I’m half sick, dehydrated, etc. Great insurance on a long hike when I know I need the calories but can’t stomach much else.
