I posted this yesterday but someone moved it to the gear deals for some reason and I couldn't figure out how to move it back so I'm just reposting it…
I think I finally nailed down my 3 season hammock camping pack set up. Realize I could still shave some ounces if I wanted to spend $$$$ but I don't have those kind of funds. Tried to streamline this to leave out everything I don't usually use. Let me know what you think! I didn't add the clothes I'm wearing to the list on purpose.
What is the lowest temperature that you have used that gear? A Thinlight would not provide me an enough warmth to be used as my “3 Seasons” hammock gear, but then again my shoulder seasons are probably a little colder than yours.
I live in CA so it doesn't get to cold, was in SoCal the past 10 years so it really didn't get cold. May actually have to rethink that now that I'm NorCal.
I've used it when it got down into the 40s at night.
How cold do your shoulder seasons get?
