Has anyone any experience with the Ruta Locura LWD-UL?
I am curious to hear.
Thanks in advance.
This probably isn't much help, but Ryan Jordan uses one in the video in this article if you'd at least like to get some different views of it.
I was looking for more info on the Ruta Locura version as well, or hell, even the Klymit one. Not much info online. I ended up just pulling the trigger on an Alpacka.
Thanks Stevie, I'll check the vid.
This was just posted a few days ago. Good write-up with quite a few pictures and videos. May be of some interest, since it's basically the same raft, just 75 D instead of 210 D.

Good Review. I'm very torn between the two though. For only a 7 oz difference in a kit that is going to add up to 3-4 lbs I wonder if the 210 D is worth the added tear protection.
I'm really surprised Klymit didn't go with 210D on the bottom and 75D everywhere else. Seems like it could have been the best of both worlds IMO.
i just took my klymit lwd out today to test the waters i am very impressed, i picked mine up on clearance over the winter a good paddle was not in the budget, so most of my complaints would be that my paddle was to long, i did have the seat pop on me but cant blame that on the raft a lake varmint took a big blow to my arss from under neath the water, hurt for a good 3 minutes so only to be expected that the seat would pop. the lwd is very up to the task very comfortable it plains on the water about as good as you would expect it to, if not maybe a little better then expected, might take the raft out tomorrow if i can squeeze it in the morning now that i shortened the paddle about 8" should be just the right size
