Several months ago, I was approached by a BackpackingLight.com reader about creating an interface for user gear reviews where simple, short, sweet, 1-sentence to 1-paragraph reviews could be posted about gear that readers did or did not like, with a very simple scoring interface.
We researched quite a lot of different ones on the Web and polled several of our readers about what they wanted. We are releasing a beta version of this interface, initially, that will only be accessible to BPL Premium Members. Please feel free to use the interface, provide me with your feedback, and add reviews. Once we are comfortable that the kinks get worked out, we’ll release it publicly in a day or two.
For now, Premium Members can access the review interface by clicking the USER REVIEWS link from the BackpackingLight.com home page menu (below forums) or directly here:
