These also are AWSOME and delicious……
Morchella esculenta (Common Morel)
Elusive and delicious, morel mushrooms are found in Michigan and are a wonderful spring time delicacy in Michigan. These were found in the neighbors front yard. I encourage you to use mesh bags in order for the spores of the mushrooms to be dispersed as you continue your hunt, and therefore hopefully increase or maintain the morel population. Happy Hunting!
