    Found these on amazon: http://j.mp/1lAxZtW

CRAFTED WITH PRIDE IN THE USA
HIGH QUALITY VEST WITH CROTCH AND WAIST STRAPS
FITS ADULTS FROM 100 LB TO 180 LB
DIMENSIONS 18 IN WIDE BY 20 INCH TALL
    Quality Brass Inflator

Anyone familiar with these and their flotation potential?

I got one to use on moderate trips where I otherwise would be tempted to not bring a PFD at all. I think it serves that purpose well. I cut off the crotch strap, which is not necessary. The vest is fairly comfortable and secure. The valve is sturdy and easy to use. The material is stout, which pushed the weight up towards half a pound, but it seems like it would resist puncture well.

That's exactly what I was hoping to hear. Thanks, Dave.
