I love that peak. My parents are from Fort Collins (Go Rams!) and I remember this peak from my childhood. I haven't made the climb yet, but I would like to sometime soon. I think I might hike some of the Colorado Trail this summer but, Longs isn't in the plans yet . . .
Thanks for the great pictures. Very nostalgic for me. My great grandparents, grandparents and parents were from Fort Collins and Longmont and this was a family experience for many generations. My grandparents were part of a climbing group waaaaayy back when it wasn't glamorous or light.
