Hyalite Canyon Maxey Cabin – wood?

Howdy,

Planning a trip into Maxey Cabin in Gallatin this winter. Curious if anyone knows the answer to the following two questions:

1. Is the road plowed all the way to the cabin these days or is there a good hike into the cabin?

2. Is there firewood stocked at the cabin or is hauling in a cord required?
