My girlfriend and I have gotten quite obsessed with rock climbing in the past year, and we are looking for areas in the Northeast where we can combine our two passions, UL backpacking and rock climbing. We've gotten our base pack weights down low enough to where we should have a manageable load even with rope, harnesses, and shoes. We just need ideas for locations. I'd like to do a 3-4 day trip, and we would need an area (probably for toproping) that had some 5.8s and 5.9s for her, and some 5.10s and 5.11s for me (maybe even a 5.12, if I'm feeling bold!). I would also consider an area that has some good bouldering, with problems ranging from V1-V6. Since I'm new to the climbing world, I'd love some suggestions. Thanks!
