So I will be going down to Patagonia in OCtober and staying for three months. (nols) I will be doing a mountaineering section for a month and they REQUIRE a double plastic mountaineering boot. I have size 15 feet. I have only found ONE PAIR that makes a size 15 (Lowa Civetto). Its about $350. Is there ANYTHING ELSE!? ANYTHING AT ALL!?

    The Fifth Season rents Civettos.
They may have a pair they would be willing to part with.

Yea from what I've been reading, the plastic boot is obsolete but I'm just wondering if NOLs will accept it.

I wear a 13 – 48/49 in climbing boots (singles and doubles) and the baruntse in 49 were too small (volume) and baking the liner wasn't going to help. Of course, everybody's foot is different and a good boot-fitter might get them to work for you.
