Due in no small part to trip reviews in BPL, my wife and I are taking our first trip to Dinkey next week. I called the ranger to ask about water in the creeks and was told there is "some". She said they are having late August conditions (now, in mid-July) because of the dry winter.
Does anyone know current (July, 2013) conditions of the creek that drains Cliff Lake into Courtright Reservoir? Is there enough to drink? I would rather not have to schlep water from the trailhead to Cliff Lake unless necessary.
Oh, and how were the mosquitos around the lakes?
Thanks in advance,
Kevin
