I first got some back pain at age 30 (desk job, some weight gain, poor lifting techniques). To the point that I'd lay in bed instead of being upright and it got worse.
Eventually, there was a hike I REALLY wanted to do and I went, dreading the back pain. I felt better afterwards. *Aha!*
The more I hiked the better I felt. I've never gotten so behind the 8-ball again, but if I feel a few twinges, I hit the trail more.
