Although, not strictly speaking, about the Forum, I would like to give the following input, not knowing otherwise how to air Reader Review issues.

I think that it would further the quality and interest in the Reader Reviews if there were a vehicle for commenting on and asking questions about the reviews and to do this without detracting from and skewing review ratings, as is now the case.

In addition, I would also like to see a more nuanced incremental numerical choice for the reviewers to use when rating the goods or some other way of introducing more "shades of gray", as it were. We all know that there is no product out there that cannot be improved and the prevalence of "5" ratings (mea culpa) implies a perfection that almost never exists in the real world.

Just my 2 Shekels and I realize that the site is supposed to be at least partially restructured in the near future. So maybe this is all moot.

Totally agreed on this one, Kevin. It's the main reason I've pretty much avoided posting Reader Reviews. I much prefer the give and take that takes place on the regular forums.
