Just had a good transaction with Gen from YAMA Mountain Gear (tarp should arrive tomorrow!) Saw this on his website, so I figured I'd give it a little exposure here. Basically, YAMA helps support hikers who fundraise for the Green Mountain Club.

I just bought a tarp/bug net combo from Yama recently and was really impressed with how easy and quick the process was. Gen seems like a cool guy — I emailed him some questions about hiking at Dolly Sods and he was very helpful. The gear is also top notch, using it for the first time this weekend!

What tarp did you buy from him? I got a Stratiform 1 and the bug tent 1.0.

I got the Stratiform 1P+.

+1 to Gen being great at answering all my questions and adding an extra hang loop on the underside of the ridge line. It just arrived tonight!
