Tim seemingly always responds to email within a matter of minutes and sometimes hours at the longest. He has a good sense of humor. Don't call his quilts sleeping bags! He is also really willing to give advice and discuss the best options with you. I even sent my quilt back to get the over-stuff option. It cost me more to ship it there and back than to get the extra feathers.

I've slept under this quilt at temperatures down to 8ºF (-13ºC) on an Exped Synmat UL 7 LW in a homemade Tyvek bivvy under the stars. I was warm. The 10D fabrics I chose for both inside and outside combined with the high quality down fill, mean that the quilt drapes very softly and conforms to the sleeper's body. Except for the warmth, this quilt feels almost imperceptibly light. It weighs 19 oz.

By the way, its temperature rating is 20ºF.

I cannot say enough good things about Tim and his products. I've owned a Prodigy, an Enigma and a Revelation, and each in its own way has been a remarkable product: well-made and cleanly finished to a degree rare in my experience of cottage gear.

Recently, due to a mistake on EE's end, I was shipped the wrong size quilt. Tim promptly and politely refunded my shipping and had a correctly-sized replacement shipped to me within 48 hours. This is a level of customer service nearly unheard of these days, and has only increased my appreciation for what a class act Enlightened Equipment is. You will not regret getting your next quilt here.
