Something about planning a trip with this much information in advance strikes me as wrong. I remember Colin Fletcher complaining that guidebooks were a step in the wrong direction.
Using this would certainly diminish the sense of adventure I feel when encountering a trail for the first time. If you already know whats out there, why bother?
