Home › Forums › Campfire › Trip Planning › SF Bay Area 3 Day 2 Night in November?
Thanks, I was able to get a reservation for Friday at Pfeiffer. Now my only obstacle will be waking my friend early on Saturday!
We've published trip reports here on BPL of several of our Bay Area hikes. In my opinion EVERY part of the Bay Area is good in November, so throw a dart and pick a destination! Most of the galleries include a link to the details of the route in the caption of the first photo in the gallery.

Don't limit yourself to loop hikes – you can use public transit to return to your house (or to your car).
Here are links to a few of the Bay Area trip reports we've posted.
A no-car hike. From SF across GG Bridge, loop through Marin, return to SF via ferry. This report describes a longer trip, but you could easily trim it down to size.

(many options to shorten it to to your 3 day target)
Loop hike. Los Padres via Boranda Trail

Public Transit hike. Palo Alto to Santa Cruz

Public Transit hike. Monterey Bay from Santa Cruz to Point Pinos

In summary, if you can pull it off, then plan a few two or three day trips for November, and a few more for December too. It's a fine time to be out hiking :)
