    @divr6347

    ok

    first off im really not a hammock camper however

    i have a grand trunk ultralight hammock that i would like to hang in my back yard for

    early morning and late evening hanging and just relaxing outdoors

    problem is the only place i have to hang it is in between two 4 inch diameter steel poles that support my patio cover in my back yard so what i need is some advice for the best suspension or straps to attach to the round steel poles without them slipping
    and me hitting the concrete back first

    im good with something home made or something cheap from harbor freight tools or the wal mart stores if they carry anything that might work for this kind of thing

    any suggestions are welcome

    thanks guys

    4 inch steel poles sound like pipe to me. Do a pipe hitch really snug and it will hold you up without any hardware.
