Does anybody know where one could get the havy duty Ziploc bags that Enertia Trail Foods uses to package their foods? Wouldn't hurt if they also had the fluid measurements on the side of the bag either.

There are a couple companies that make them, they are sold online-but they all require a 100-500 count order. They are nice though!

Can you point me in the right direction? Do the have the graduated measurements as well? I wouldn't mind buying 100-200 bags. I can share with friends or sell at cost to people here.

I just called Enertia Foods and ordered 10 of their bags for $0.25 apiece. They also have custom bag insulators from antigravity gear for about $6, too.

I didn't know you could do that; had checked their website before and saw no mention of the bags. Thanks for the reply.

I forgot to mention that I do have that cozy; ended up just using my OR water bottle insulator (bag fits in perfectly) on a recent Catskills winter backpack. One less thing to carry. I even ate the meal while it was in (with the top zipped off) the insulator to keep the food warm while eating it.

Will be carrying the Anti-Gravity Gear cozy for three season backpacks.

The AGG cozies work great for winter btw. You'd be surprised how well they retain heat!

I agree about the AGG cozies. I was just trying to cut down on redundant gear for that winter trip.

By the way, I ordered 100 clear 7.75 x 10.25 x 3.5 bottom gusseted ziploc bags from Sorbent Systems for $16.50. Slightly bigger than the Enertia bags; better for a bigger meal.

Nick, I am taking a new bag cozy live on my website in the next couple days. It is multi purpose and they weigh in at around 1 and 1/4 ounces. And are flexible/small packing. :-)

When I called Enertia and asked about just buying the bags, they were kind of surprised by the request. I suspect that if enough people ask them about just buying the bags, they may put them up on their site.

I just ordered 100 bags from Sorbent Systems; a bigger bag, but probably easier to eat out of. I'll let you know how it works out.
