For christmas this year, I recieved a pair of RBH Designs VaprThrm mitts (with the "Hybrid" liners, thick on top, thin on the palm). Even though I've only had them for a month and a half, I've put some pretty good use on them. My verdict on them now is the same as when I first took them out of the package: Wow! These mitts are bomber! The construction is flawless, the materials are high quality, and the result is truly excellent. I work with computers on average of 12 hours a day, and as a result, have extremely poor circulation in my right hand, particularly my index finger and thumb. Even when my left hand is comfortably warm, my right can be numb and cold. That is, until I got these mitts. Last weekend, I spent an hour or so constructing a snow trench in hard snow with nothing but my trusty snow claw shovel, and these mitts for hand protection. After that I stood around, unactive, for another few hours in temps of about 10 degrees. The entire time, my hands were dry and comfortable. Remarkable! I'm now a believer in both vapor barriers in general, and RBH's products in particular. I wouldn't hesistate to recommend this or any of their products to anybody. I would give them a 6 if I could. The only drawback is the price, but they are worth every penny.
