Review of the initial ordering process of a custom bivy designed and built by Borah UL gear. The communication by John was incredible. All aspects of my custom order were covered and some additions he quoted as free due to the little amount of fabric required for them. All in all, a great experience and look forward to the finished product.

I recently ordered a Stealth backpack from John. The communication was great, prompt replies and very helpful. Looking forward to heading into Te Urewera National Park, New Zealand.

This review is created in advance of a review for 4 of John's bivys. I have a large family and dealing with big trips I am breaking them into the floorless realm. Each kid can carry a bivy and feel at ease. I called John a week and a half before a trip and he made me (4) custom sized bivys and upgrated me 2 days shipping included before our trip. It's refreshing to see such customer centered ownership and generosity. More to follow after the delivery hits! Out of the park service initially!
John and Borah Gear are my favorite company to work with. Always accommodating and always friendly, John will work with you to make sure you get exactly what you need. They value the business of every customer and it shows in the service that they give. I would definitely recommend them to a friend and I WILL be doing business with them in the future.
I recently contacted John at Borah Gear about repairing my Stealth Pack that I've had for a number of years and has more than 1,000 miles on it. He immediately responded and said just mail it to him and he would take care of it. I love companies that have this kind of no BS customer service.
The repaired pack came in the mail yesterday and I'm ready for the next 1,000 miles.
