Yosemite Permits for a Monday

Can I fax a reservation permit on Saturday when the 24 week prior date is a Monday, or do I have to wait until Sunday evening after 5:00pm. Any help is appreciated, Thanks Justice

you can fax Friday, after 5:00, for weekend or Monday permits.

The Wilderness Centre permit office is closed over the weekend in winter, so any fax sent between Friday 1700 pct and Monday 0830 pct will not get looked at until Monday 0830. They seem to keep the phone off the hook while they go thru the 3 days worth : I was still dialling when my 3 emails came thru. You can email them with general questions, but not the Permit Application; also they don't like any sort of cover page on the fax, and no duplicate applications. Good luck!
