This is a piece of gear my partner obtained. But, it also works for me. She got a large to wear over other items, and it fits me fine as well.

It is well made and is warm, but not too hot in cold air (20 F). It weighs about 13 oz. and has a more durable shell outter skin than the Western Mountaineering Flash Vest that I use all the time. The loft is very good, but one should be aware that the seams are sewn through. Comes with a lifetime guarantee and is a great piece of gear. My partner is wearing it for everyday puposes as it weighs very little, is high loft, and warm. As with all down gear, I wouldn't want to get it wet but the shell fabric appears to be solid enough to take a shorter lighter rain and I don't believe snow would be a problem but we will have to see.
