I enjoy Les' shows. I've been fortunate enough to have talked with Les online and he is a pretty neat guy. The one where they lived the year in the bush near Temagami was very moving. I also really like his new series "Off the Grid" – something which we plan to do in about 10 years.
According to the e-mail I just recieved, Les is in Africa right now and made a fresh posting to his blog. He's supposed to make another post via Sat. phone on Saturday.
I hope they bring the camera gear weight that he has to carry all of the time down from 55 pounds.
It would be nice to see Les be able to do some actual hiking when he can.
