Locale: far southwest NC/ New Hampshire

I live on the NC/GA border right near the AT down here- (Hiawasse, Blairsville, Hayesville, Franklin area). Usually hike by myself, but it’d be sweet to have company every once in awhile- for a dayhike or a few nights out on the AT or other trails in the area.

I’ve just started looking over your trail journal, and I’m enjoying it.

Currently, I’min dreary Nash Vegas, but will most likley move to the Maryville, Tennessee area next summer now that I am just about done with my master’s degree. It’s not exactly downtown Franklin, NC, but it’s not too far away either.

I can’t help but smile going over a though-hiker’s journal. It brings back so many memories from my own through-hike in 99.

Yer welcome to come out here to the West and use our home as a base area anytime. The PCT is like a mile away. And there are a lot of people here in CA who travel together.

I hike in your area as much as possible, tried to email you but wouldn't go though for some reason. Would like to hear more. Please email me at [email protected].
