I’m looking for a simple hanging scale. It doesn’t even need to be digital. Just want to be able to weight my pack with everything in it to within a 1/4 pound or so. Idealy, I would like it to be something I could just pick up at Home Depot and wouldn’t cost more that $30. Any ideas?

What section of Sprawl-Mart can you find them in? I don’t think their sales people are going to be much help. Thanks!

I use a Digital Veggie/Meat scale… 1/8oz variation, located in the Appliance section. There are Hanging Digital Fish scales in the Sporting Goods section, I believe I saw one w/ <1/8oz variation for $24.99...

Wish we could reccomend alternate stores. I’d have trouble buying anything from that place if my life depended on it.

I have seen Taylor hanging scales at my local grange and at Ace hardware for around $30 that would meet your criteria. I have a digital scale that measures in 1 oz. increments up to 6 lbs. that I use to weigh my gear but obviously not all at once. I paid $29.95 at an upscale kitchen store of all places. Polder is the make.
