I reviewed this pack already, the 0-Sarc, and think it deserves the highest scores possible. In dealing with McHale Packs I have to say their ‘service’ is second to none. It would be difficult I think for a small company to give more of itself. They should get a 10 but 5 will have to suffice.
I am continually impressed with McHale’s commitment to the customer. Throughout the whole fitting and purchasing process there was continuing support and guidance which ensured that there were no surprises when the final pack arrived.
Furthermore, Dan’s willingness to advise me of the finer points of the pack and its design is well beyond what most outdoor gear suppliers are willing to do.
I've reviewed my LBP 40 elsewhere but a separate review for Dan himself seems apt. He is clearly a master of the packmaking trade and while not a UL fan by nature his commitment to customer education and attention to the details of pack fit are extraordinary. Now, this does come with a bit of cantankerousness and some opinions but at the end of the day it just don't matter.
