Campmor has an easy to use interface on the web, located at campmor.com
They have all types of camping gear, from long term pads to ultralight titanium. They don’t have everything, but they have a pretty good selection, and they were pretty responsive to my questions and order.

I’d give them a 4.5 overall, but they’re clearly better than some of the 4.0 companies listed, so I went with the 5.

For me, living in the NE, Campmor.com is one my “go to” online retailers for gear.

My favorite source for Clif Bars and Gu.

Often have some very good sales on gear.

I have ordered from Campmor more than any other company. Normal delivery time is 48hrs after shipping for only two states away. They typically ship within 48hrs after i place an order. When an item ships UPS they always send an email with the tracking number the day the item ships. I receive the item the next day.

Sometimes i call and check stock in their store in NJ if their online site shows something out of stock in their warehouse. Then they will fulfill my order from their store. They are very helpful in this way.

They only charge my CC for whatever portion of my order that ships.

I have not had a single problem that i can recall ordering from Campmor.com.

I’ve ordered from Campmor a number of times, both for myself and for my old Scout troop. Each time has been a good experience. The things I’ve ordered for myself have always arrived promptly. I also have made a few bulk orders for Scouts. We recieved everything on a very large order in a very timely manner. Campmor is a great place to find good deals on good gear and I always find myself browsing the site looking for new deals. I would highly recommend checking them out.

I've travelled to Campmor's Jersey store from Connecticut pretty often over the last 20 years. They've always had a large selection of excellent gear at good prices. Recently, I've been deployed to Afghanistan. Campmor was my source of choice for outdoor items that the Army doesn't supply. They got everything to me quickly with no mistakes. They also took care of warranty issues I had with a Sunnto watch in a very customer friendly fashion.

The reason I went with a 5 rating for Campmor had to do with their selection of merchandise and their prices. Whenever I'm in the market for a piece of gear, I always look at campmor first. 90% of the time, I can find it on campmor for about 25% cheaper than anywhere else. They also ship items very quickly. Even with the free ground shipping I usually recieve my items within 5 days. I've only had to return one item and it was because someone already bought me that item for my birthday. Campmor customer service was very nice and refunded my money with a "no-questions-asked" attitude. I really like campmor and I would recomend it to anyone.

I ordered a pair of convertible pants based on the sizing chart online. When the pants arrived, the size was what I ordered, but when I measured them, the inseam was not as advertised. I called customer service, on a weekend, and explained my problem. They offered to exchange the pants, and pay shipping both ways since it was their sizing mistake. Very happy with the service.

Ordered climbing gear and backpacking gear from campmor.com three times since 2009 (totaling about $1k). Their prices are very competitive, and my orders have been delivered quickly.

On one occasion, they delivered 200 ft of webbing in 3 random lengths. Customer service offered to refund or resend the webbing, but I declined the offer.

They have treated my Boy Scout Troop and me right.

I have been ordering from Campmor for 2 years. I find the selection broad and the service fantastic. I only had to return one item, due to failure in the field. They accepted the return and credited my account w/o question.

I've ordered from Campmor about 5 times, always for closeout items at a discount.

My experience has always been positive.

My only complaint (and a minor one) is that they constantly change the website setup, with so many graphics that even with level 2 high speed internet, the pages load slowly.
