Similar to tarptent designs, but no vestibule and made out of Golite’s heavy-duty silnylon, so it weighs a little more (3.5 lbs). I have used it in Tahoe National Forest where it was used for me and a friend as a bug shelter, and found no condensation, two nights in strong wind-rain in Point Reyes in the winter, where a poncho used as a vestibul was neccesary, and two nights at Lake Morena, where heavy condensation was experienced, even with only-mesh closed at both ends.
Interior size is good for two(I’ve even squeezed in 3 guys), and the sidewalls are nearly vertical, so condensation transfer isn’t too bad.
I am happy with the tent, but knowing what I know now would recomend a Shires or Six Moons tarp-tent.

One of the coldest nights I ever spent in a bag was in February in a Golite Den in Ohio.

It was 18 degrees out, well below the dewpoint, and everything just froze on me, on the tent and on the outside of the sleeping bag.

The ventilation was poor enough that the condensation couldn’t escape. Wow that was a cold night.
